Debut with Lodz Philharmonic Orchestra

Claus Efland conducts one of the most famous symphonies, the 5th Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven, when he opens the new season with Lodz Philharmonic Orchestra in Poland on the 27th of September 2019. The programme includes the Violin Concerto by the polish composer Ludomir Rozycki (1883-1953) with the young violinist Janusz Wawrowski as a soloist. Otto Nicolai´s sparkling "Merry Wives of Windsor" Overture opens the concert, which takes place at the beautiful Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic Hall in Lodz.
