Carl Nielsen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
The year 2020 opens with performances in Neubrandenburg (9th of January), Neustrelitz (12th of January) and Güstrow (24th of January). Claus Efland conducts Neubrandenburger Philharmonie in a terrific programme based on the theme Temperaments, including Brahms´ mighty 1st Piano Concerto in D minor with Spanish Judith Jáuregui as soloist and the 2nd Symphony The Four Temperaments by Efland´s compatriot, the Danish composer Carl Nielsen.
