Svendsen in Aarhus
On the 15th and 16th of March 2018, Claus Efland is performing with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra in Denmark. The programme includes Weber Freischütz Overture, Schumann Piano Concerto with Zlata Chochieva as a soloist and Johan Svendsen Symphony No 2.
In November 2016, Claus stepped in at a short notice and conducted the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra in a critical acclaimed performance of Brahms 3rd Symphony. The newspaper Aarhus Stiftstidende reported: ...To step in as a conductor with such short notice, is very demanding. But Efland, who is establishing a distinguished international career, did a marvellous job.
