Efland conducts Rachmaninov

On the 26th of November 2016, Efland directs a performance in the De Montfort Hall in Leicester. In a concert which celebrates 30th Anniversary of the Bardi Symphony Orchestra, Claus Efland conducts one of the great romantic symphonies, Rachmaninov's Symphony No 2. The concert also features the Russian pianist Nikolai Demidenko as soloist in Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto and opens with Wagner's Prelude to Act 1 of "Die Meistersinger".
